Dania BeachĀ (DaniaĀ until 1998) is a city inĀ Broward County, Florida, United States. It is part of theĀ South Florida metropolitan area. As of theĀ 2020 census, the city’s population was 31,723. Dania Beach is the location of one of the largestĀ jai alaiĀ frontonsĀ in the United States,Ā The Casino @ Dania Beach (Dania Jai Alai).[7]Ā It was formerly the location for twoĀ amusement centers; one namedĀ Boomers!Ā (formerly Grand Prix Race-O-Rama), which housed theĀ Dania Beach HurricaneĀ roller coaster, and the other beingĀ Pirates WorldĀ amusement park, which was featured inĀ Barry Mahon‘sĀ Thumbelina. It is also home to theĀ International Game Fish AssociationĀ Hall of Fame and Museum.
